Living in the Tuggeranong area myself. I have been doing mobile remedial massage in Canberra for the past 12 years. I've also spent almost all of my entire life living here. Even though the massage industry is growing in Canberra and there is more and more places to go.

Affordably?

I know what you're thinking. "Wouldn't a service that comes to me be more expensive?"

Not in this case. At clinics there is always the clinics cut. So most clinics in the industry take from 40% to 60% of the money and the rest goes towards to therapist. Since there is no clinic involved and its just the travel time. I've been able to have my prices lower then most Canberra clinics. Like it's great, try find someone with my experience cheaper. It's not that I don't have confidence in what I can bring. I just have no middle man to take a cut. I have no receptionist or social media manager or at the moment even any other staff. It's all me so it means Making my mobile massage service viable for so many of my clients. Cost of living has risen lately and I don't want to be greedy. I want to get results for my Canberra clients.

Convenience is key

Proximity to a service is always a strong important factor for clients. Its almost a rule where most of us don't want to cross the lake for a service. With Mobile massage this issue isn't a factor at all. I come to you, Yes I have a travel fee for the north side of Canberra. It however hasn't seemed to be a stopping factor in clients booking with me. I am very experienced in the field of massage and muscle recovery and am confident I can help.

So what is a remedial massage in the first place?

well put simply its a massage but with the intention on pain relief so there's are few styles and I'll kind of list them below.

  1. Swedish Massage (relax not really remedial but thought I'd add it)

    • Focus: Relaxation and general well-being.

    • Techniques: Gentle, flowing strokes that soothe the body and mind.

    • Comparison: Remedial massage is more targeted and therapeutic, addressing specific concerns rather than relaxation alone.

  2. Deep Tissue Massage

    • Focus: Releasing tension in deeper muscle layers.

    • Techniques: Similar to remedial massage with strong pressure, but without the emphasis on injury assessment or rehabilitation.

    • Comparison: Remedial massage incorporates deep tissue work but also focuses on diagnosing and treating specific injuries.

  3. Sports Massage

    • Focus: Preventing and treating sports-related injuries, enhancing performance.

    • Techniques: Combines stretching, compression, and deep tissue work tailored for athletes.

    • Comparison: Remedial massage also treats injuries, but it is not exclusive to athletes and can address a wider range of conditions.

  4. Relaxation Massage

    • Focus: Stress relief and relaxation.

    • Techniques: Light to moderate pressure with slow, calming movements.

    • Comparison: Remedial massage is therapeutic and problem-focused rather than relaxation-based.

  5. Myotherapy (Fascia work)

    • Focus: Advanced assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal pain.

    • Techniques: Similar to remedial massage but often includes additional tools like dry needling or cupping.

    • Comparison: Remedial massage is a foundation, while myotherapy is a more specialized treatment.

So that's the styles that we can do but I also do things like Dry needling, Cupping, Scarping, Dolphin neurostim therapy. I basically do everything I can to get the issue the client has resolved.

The biggest thing I offer that most don't

I offer 2 hour massage treatments that can be for 1 person where we really get a chance to target a few issues better then ever. or I can treat 2 people for 1 hour each. Now I know i mentioned this above but again. the extra hour is only slightly more expensive. the reason for this and because I'm already at your place. I have already set up and am ready so if I can be there an extra hour I will reward you with giving you a discount. It means I don't have to fill another spot for the day. You basically did the selling for me by recommending me to your friend or partner which is fantastic. The way I see it is if you both loved the treatment they when a friend is asking for recommendations both of you are going to suggest me.

I have added a quick video of a normal treatment I have done. Just so you get the idea of what I'm about. This is a treatment I have done focussing on carpal tunnel. I used remedial massage methods and I also used the dolphin neurostim and dry needling to sort out the issue. Enjoy.

One other thing before I stop. if you’re in areas like Tuggeranong, woden valley or queanbeyan region. You don’t have to worry about paying the extra travel fee that North Canberra has to pay. I Just thought to mention it as an added perk of being local. Otherwise areas such as Belconnen and the Canberra city have a travel fee added to their massage.

Enough from me. Thanks for reading.
