About us
Hello, I'm John and this is my family.
I run Remedial2you but I First began my career in the massage industry at Canberra Body Clinic and have been a part of their team for over 10 years. While I still happily work there, I've had a strong desire to establish a mobile business of my own.
A decade's worth of experience has made me confident in assisting individuals dealing with chronic pain issues, disabilities, and mobility challenges. making treatments tailored to a persons needs whether it's through rare techniques like electrical dry needling or scraping. to using regularly known methods. Its important to be able to adapt to each and every clients needs.

What do we offer?
Combining dry needling and massage together
Ever wondered how dry needling works?
When you get a cut or mild puncture wound such as from a dry needle. Your body starts a natural healing process. Blood vessels in the area constrict slowing down bleeding, platelets form a clot to seal the wound and White blood cells rush to the area
These white blood cells help to remove any damaged (tight) muscle tissue and clean up the area. The wound will start to heal with new skin cells growing in to replace the damaged (tight) muscle tissue. The healing process may cause very mild swelling, redness,
Simply that is how dry needling works and using it with remedial massage it is a very powerful tool at our deposal.
Finish a treatment with sports tape
Sports tape can give a treatment huge assistance. It can be used to support like shown in the photos to assist a weakened rotator cuff supporting its function during injury recovery . Even can be used to assist an unstable knee before a event, sports tape can give you great support up those hills. I find it most valuable applying it to a lower back to reduce to chance of soreness after the massage and for the following day.

The Future long term plans
In my career I've been lucky enough to have access to an amazing piece of equipment called "The Reverse Hyper" This machine is designed to help in the recovery of issues such as a disc bulge. As shown in the video The machine works by having your legs swing back and forth. in the forward motion it helps stretch and open up disc space safely and then strengthening the back muscles on the back swing. Its secret is it does this without loading the spine. While exercises like deadlifting and back extensions are fantastic for the lower back. They do load the spine and if your spine is compromised by a disc bulge it can be a risk doing these movements.
My dream is to have my own little clinic one day so I can REHAB lower back disc INJURIES BY combining massage and the amazing reverse hyper machine
