Adhesion Release Method
A method focusing on Treating Scar Tissue, Muscle Adhesions and Chronic Pain
If you've been dealing with regular muscle tightness, restricted movement or pain that just doesn't seem to improve. Many people are told they have "tight muscles," but in reality the problem can often be tissue adhesions within the muscles and connective tissue restricting nerve freedom.
I have been specialising in Adhesion Release Method (ARM) as part of my mobile remedial massage treatments. This specialised technique is designed to identify and reduce adhesions that may be limiting movement and contributing to pain.
How Does Adhesion Release Massage Work?
In the video example here. During treatment I feel and move tissue to assess how different parts move and identify areas where tissue mobility has been lost. Using specialised manual techniques, controlled pressure is applied across the direction of the restricted tissue. The aim is to encourage the tissue layers to move more freely again. Unlike a regular massage, adhesion release is very specific. Rather than working broadly over large muscle groups, treatment focuses on the exact structures causing restriction.
To be effective at the method I have needed to develop extensive knowledge of anatomy and be able to feel and find nerve locations and their pathways.
