Are you traveling in the next coming days going for hours in a car or plane?
Well one of my favourite things to do and something I quite specialise in is preparation for travel treatment. Might be a strange thing to be into doing but over the years I've learnt methods to really make sure my client has minimal to no pain going on these long periods of siting in a car or plane.
My focus is I first do firm massage through-out the entire back, glutes, hamstrings, shoulders, neck and hips making sure everything is loose and stiffness is out of the area.
Needling when possible is fantastic to help this. When possible 2 days before the flight or car ride is perfect because needling increases blood flow to an area for the coming days after a treatment.
3rd attack and often the most important. Kineso taping. I use tape to brace and support the lower back and or neck so the whole structure is supported and ready to be sit for hours.
Doing all 3 of these are given me fantastic results in my clients and make sure when they arrive at their destination they can be more focused on finding their bags and a taxi and less on worrying about back pain.
I know its a very usual thing to be talking about but its just a weird passion of mine and I love to hear from my clients telling me they had zero pain the whole time on a 20 hour flight and their disc bulge felt like it wasn't even a thing.
